news... and stuff

It's been ages since my last post. It's been a VERY busy start to the year!
So to catch you up, here is the latest in the world of Antique Fusion.

I have found little piece of paradise in a little town called Hogsback in the Eastern Cape. So I am packing Antique Fusion up with me and taking it there. Everything will remain as normal, only I'll be making the jewellery you love from a place that I REALLY love... So look forward to some truly inspired designs this year.

Second on the list is Design Indaba 2011! I am very excited to be a part of Indaba this year, and will be exhibiting as part of the Fringe Arts collective. 25th-27th February at the Cape Town Convention Centre. And If you haven't heard of the Fringe Arts yet... Were have you been?!

The Fringe Arts is owned by two limitlessly talented, vibrant and seriously on it woman, Thessa Bos and Chantal Louw, who have taken local design talents to new heights in the short time since their opening in 2010. Their pop-up design shop concept has been hugely successful, showcasing only the creme de la creme of SA design.

I am also very excited to tell you that with my move to Hogsback, Thessa and Chantal will be representing Antique Fusion in Cape Town and surrounds.

As you can imagine, trying to co-ordinate a big move, design indaba and valentines day orders has been a mammoth task to undertake in two weeks, but I am happy to say with only 3 days to go before the move, and just under two weeks to Indaba, I am on track and producing some great new pieces (see above) So be sure to pop in to Design Indaba to see what I've been up to.

The Antique Fusion studio will be closing on the 17th of Feb and re-opening in Hogsback in the first week of March ( National road strikes permitting).

So till then, enjoy the rest of this month of love. x
