Cute, quick, and easy glass fridge magnets.

To make these adorable little magnets, you will need...

  • clear glass marbles with flat backs ( available from craft stores or flower shops)
  • decoupage glue
  • a flat paint brush
  • round magnets ( also available at craft and scrapbooking stores)
  • scissors
  • artwork of your choice- you can use prints, fabrics ( with an even surface), or photos
  • windolene or glass cleaner
  • epoxy glue (available at any hardware store)
OK, got everything?

Step 1: Print or cut the artwork you have chosen to the right size for the marble.

Step 2: Cut the artwork to the shape of the marble.

Step 3: Using the flat brush, apply the Decoupage glue to the front of the artwork ( or the back of the marble)

Step 4:Press the marble onto the artwork, making sure to press hard enough to get rid of any bubbles!
Step 5: After the Decoupage glue has dried, clean the surface with windolene and epoxy the magnet onto the back of the artwork.
and... Ta daaaaa! Quick and easy personalized fridge magnets!

I am adding this to my list of holiday projects! I think these would make really good gift box fillers! Everyone (especially your parents) loves a handmade gift.

Enjoy!
